Championship Weekend is finally here! We are excited to wrap up an incredible season together. Please take a few minutes to review the important information below.

Friday, July 24  (For IM Swimmers ONLY)

• Check-in: 5:15 PM
• Warm-ups: 5:30 PM
• Meet Begins: 6:30 PM

Saturday, July 25 (Free Relay, Breast and Freestyle)

• Check-in: 7:15 AM
  
  • Parents will be given swimmers champs shirts and swag
• Warm-ups: 7:45 PM
• Opening Ceremonies: 8:45 AM
• Meet Begins: 9:30 AM

Sunday, July 26 (Medley Relay, Fly, Back, Parent Relay)

• Check-in: 7:15 AM
• Warm-ups: 7:45 PM
• Meet Begins: 9:00 AM

🏊 Championship Reminders

• Every swimmer competes in the preliminary heats. The top 16 swimmers in each event will return to swim in the finals.
• Please check with a coach or board member before leaving each day to make sure your swimmer has not qualified for finals.
• It is extremely important that your swimmer does not miss an event. If a swimmer misses a scheduled race, they will be scratched from the remainder of the Championship meet for the weekend. Please enjoy the weekend, but keep an eye on the schedule and listen for announcements so your swimmer is ready when it's their turn to race.

🦈 Team Area

Our team area will already be set up when you arrive. Families are welcome to bring a canopy or tent and set up within the Sunnyside Sharks team area. Please be mindful of everyone's space so all Shark families can fit comfortably.

Please do not leave valuables unattended or overnight.

🚗 Parking

• Unload your swimmer and equipment first, then move your vehicle to a designated parking area.
• Parking is available at:
  • Fruit warehouse lot
  • Naches Valley High School (Shuttle Service Available)
  • Limited parking near the park
• Please do not block neighborhood driveways or the fire department entrance.

📸 Meet Photos

NorthWest Sports Photography will be taking action photos throughout the weekend. Photos will be available for purchase on Saturday and Sunday. 

🍔 Food & Apparel

Food vendors will be available throughout the weekend.

Fine Designs will also be on site selling Championship shirts and sweatshirts.

🙋 Parent Relay on Sunday

We are looking for parents to participate in the Parent Relay on Sunday! This is always a fun way to cool off after an exciting weekend of racing, and our swimmers absolutely love cheering on their parents. If you're willing to jump in, please let a coach or board member know!

• Championship shirt (once received Saturday)

Our team theme for Championships is Operation Shark Attack! Wear your team gear, camo, red, white and blue and cheer loudly for your teammates, and let's finish the season strong!

Friendly Reminder: This is a long weekend for our coaches, we ask that you let them coach and you find a board member for any questions or concerns.
